Mary Morikawa joined FORTIS Resource Partners in June, 2009 where she serves as the Manager of Talent Acquisition. Mary provides strategic recruitment solutions for all FORTIS clients. Utilizing her fifteen years of recruitment experience, she is able to easily source passive candidates that match the client’s cultural and technical hiring needs. Through the development of strong relationships with both clients and candidates she gains a deep understanding of the individual’s unique needs. The result is always helping the client or candidate achieve the ideal hiring match.
Prior to joining FORTIS Resource Partners, Mary worked as a Senior Recruiting Consultant. In this role she worked with her clients to establish comprehensive recruitment strategies and identify high caliber candidates. She was responsible for the entire recruitment life cycle including developing a detailed search strategy through offer negotiation. She provided contract-recruiting services for a wide range of companies including: The Capital Group, City National Bank, Arden Realty and The Huntington Library. Before working as a consultant, Mary worked directly for The Capital Group Companies for nine years as a Corporate Recruiter. In this role she was responsible for the coordination and execution of the information technology recruitment for the firm’s domestic locations. Her recruiting experience, background, personal style, and ability to match candidate with client brings a valuable asset to the FORTIS team.
Mary received her degree from Long Beach State University in 1993. She lives in Yorba Linda with her husband and three children. On most weekends she can be found out on the soccer field or in a gym somewhere: watching her children or their cousins playing either volleyball or basketball.
